is a long pillow that hugs your head with gentle pressure, giving you the sweet relief of complete darkness, muffled noise and 360 degrees of pillow protection.
I think that this is a real thing, but I would like it even if it’s not.

This interesting open source project could be a nice place to look for ideas for circuits, as well as give them back.
In response to Maturana and Varela’s proposition that on organism only exits in the present, and what constitutes the present-past-future, I tried in vain to remember the specifics of the work on time consciousness by Benjamin Libet. Here are two links about his research, and their potential philosophical consequences. Pre-empted decisions and Libet’s Short Delay. We’ll talk about this a bit next class.
Wireless controllable LED lights!
The Saiko5 Light Fixture incorporates a Light Brick 5 and a Light Shield 7 along with case, power supply, and Arduino UNO into a single fixture with the Saiko5 Firmware is installed on the included Arduino UNO to allow for wireless control of the light fixture. The Saiko5 Software gives examples for how to control the fixture using the firmware and a computer running PureData and Python.

Use 555’s in a unique way to enhance music, sounds, animation, performances, art pieces, etc. There will be less focus on unique electrical circuits here and more focus on the inclusion in creative endeavors.

Paper Circuitry at Home: Electric Origami shows how to make a paper box-light inspired by MAKE’s LED throwies. Uses aluminum foil for the traces, and shows a nice technique using laser print toner to fuse the foil to the paper.
