- Sparkfun – sensors, components, Arduino’s, etc. Great store and a good blog.
- LessEMF – “The EMF Safety Supperstore!” – conductive fabrics, thread, velcro, etc.
- All Electronics - Surplus electronics store. Cheap, if they have what you are looking for. Sometimes you can find interesting odd things.
- Electronics Goldmine – Another surplus store with all sorts of neat stuff. Good for LEDs and sensors.
- Modern Device – makes the Bare Bones Board, the RBBB and normally has some other cool things.
- HVW Tech – another hobbyist store, with microcontrollers and such. They have some inexpensive alternatives to mainstream projects.
- Adafruit – “Unique and fun DIY” – have some good Arduino accessories
- Jameco – large electronics retailer, has everything.
- Digikey – another major electronics retailer.
