sensory research assignment
Research some form of:
- sensing
- communication
- or, presentation
among some living thing. (Or pseudo-living thing, you could do a virus, or the like. But no rocks or non-living matter.) Briefly describe your findings, including:
- How it works, or how we think it works
- What sort of life-world (Umwelt) do you think it creates for that life form
deliverables
- Brief written statement, summarizing your findings (200 – 500 words)
- References for your research (journal articles, urls, videos)
- (if possible) some sort of visual representation, i.e. images or video (which can be links
- A ~5 minute presentation of your findings in class
Written responses will be due by FRIDAY Feb. 25. Can be in any format, pdf, html, doc, body of email message, etc…
Presentations are THIS WEEK, Tuesday and Thursday, (Feb 22, 24) so be prepared to be called upon.
